Hospital Overview/Profile：

Beijing Shijitan Hospital, affiliated with Capital Medical University (formerly Beijing Railway General Hospital), is adjacent to the China Millennium Monument in Beijing. Originally established in 1915 as the Beijing Railway General Hospital under the Ministry of Railways, it passed the national assessment as one of the first Grade-A tertiary hospitals in 1989. As a municipal-level comprehensive hospital in Beijing, it is one of the city's century-old hospitals. In 2020, the hospital ranked among the top 100 in Fudan University's "2020 Annual Ranking of Chinese Hospitals (Comprehensive)." In 2022, nine of its specialties—Allergy, General Surgery, Dermatology, Otorhinolaryngology, Plastic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Respiratory Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Gastroenterology—entered the top 100 of the Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics (STEM) ranking for Chinese medical institutions/hospitals. Currently, it serves as the Cancer Medical College of Capital Medical University, the Ninth Clinical Medical College of Peking University, a central health emergency backup support hospital, the Beijing Institute of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine for Oncology Research, and the governing unit of the Beijing Shijitan Hospital Medical Consortium.

The hospital integrates medical care, teaching, scientific research, prevention, and healthcare. It covers an area of 72,800 square meters, and after the completion of its emergency and comprehensive building in 2022, its total construction area expanded to 149,800 square meters. It houses 56 clinical departments and 7 medical technology departments, with a comprehensive range of DRG-evaluated disciplines. The hospital has 1,100 approved beds and employs approximately 2,700 staff members, including over 400 senior-level experts and more than 900 individuals with master's, doctoral, or postdoctoral degrees. It also boasts nearly 100 nationally renowned senior experts. The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technologies and facilities, including a helical tomotherapy system (TOMO Radixact), multiple intelligent and precise linear accelerators (VitalBeam and Trilogy), a cobalt-60 therapy machine, afterloading therapy machines, high-precision quantitative PET-CT scanners, a 256-row/512-slice high-end spectral CT scanner, a 192-row high-end dual-source Force CT scanner, two 256-slice high-speed iCT scanners, multiple low-dose CT scanners, three 3.0T and two 1.5T MRI machines, multiple intelligent mobile robotic DSA systems, orthopedic surgical robots, and other large-scale modern medical equipment.

The Operating Room Medical Behavior Management System provided by Changzhou Pairy Intelligent for Beijing Shijitan Hospital primarily includes an access control admission system, intelligent uniform dispensers, intelligent shoe dispensers, intelligent storage lockers (changing room lockers), intelligent clothing collectors, shoe collectors (recycling machines), large-screen announcement systems, and more. This system achieves secure access control for operating room personnel, intelligent dispensing and recycling of surgical gowns, shoes, and caps, as well as item traceability. It reduces non-compliant behavior, ensures the cleanliness and safety of the sterile operating room, and simultaneously contributes to enhancing the operational efficiency and management level of the operating room. It also plays a significant role in advancing the construction of digital operating rooms for smart hospitals.
