Chongqing Liangjiang New District People's Hospital was established in 1957. After nearly 70 years of development and construction, it has now evolved into a comprehensive national Grade III hospital and "Liangjiang Hospital Affiliated with Chongqing Medical University," integrating medical care, teaching, emergency response, preventive healthcare, rehabilitation, and elderly care.
Hospital Scale:The hospital currently comprises three campuses: Campus A, Campus B, and the Lijia Medical and Elderly Care Center. It oversees five community health service centers (Yuanyang, Cuiyun, Renhe, Jinshan, and Tiangongdian) and eight community health service stations, serving a population of over 1 million. The hospital has a total of 1,860 designated beds and a gross floor area of 330,000 square meters.
Human Resources: The hospital currently employs 1,558 staff members, with healthcare professionals accounting for approximately 89% of the workforce. Among them, 206 hold associate senior titles or above, and 304 hold master's or doctoral degrees.
Specialty Development: The hospital houses 38 clinical departments and 7 medical technology and pharmacy departments. It currently manages one national specialty construction project in acupuncture, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation designated by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Rehabilitation Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine), one municipal medical specialty in Chongqing (Gastroenterology), and four municipal key clinical specialties in Chongqing (Emergency Department, Gynecology, Endocrinology and Metabolism Department, and Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine). It also oversees eight district-level medical quality control centers in the New District, including Nursing Quality Control Center, Hospital Infection Control Center, Medical Laboratory Quality Control Center, Oral Healthcare Quality Control Center, Emergency Quality Control Center, Digestive Endoscopy Quality Control Center, Medical Record Management Quality Control Center, and Respiratory Medicine Quality Control Center. Additionally, the hospital serves as the Liangjiang New District Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, Trauma Center, Critical Maternal Care Center, and Critical Newborn Care Center.

The Operating Room Medical Behavior Management System provided by Changzhou Pairy Intelligent for Chongqing Liangjiang New District People's Hospital primarily includes an access control admission system, intelligent uniform dispensers, intelligent shoe dispensers, intelligent storage lockers (changing room lockers), intelligent clothing collectors, shoe collectors (recycling machines), large-screen announcement systems, and more. This system achieves secure access control for operating room personnel, intelligent dispensing and recycling of surgical gowns, shoes, and caps, as well as item traceability. It reduces non-compliant behavior, ensures the cleanliness and safety of the sterile operating room, and simultaneously contributes to enhancing the operational efficiency and management level of the operating room. It also plays a significant role in advancing the construction of digital operating rooms for smart hospitals
